I'm breathless, Kathy! This piece is just so magnificent, you should be so proud. All of the time and effort and frogging you put into this was really worth it, congratulations!
Wow,it's beautiful Kathy! Kudos to you! You've done a magnificent job on this. How nice that you'll be spending some quality time with your grandchildren. Did you plan your visit to coincide with the warmer weather here too, lol ? I hope you have a safe trip back.
I just checked out your profile. Not only are we on opposite shores of Lake Ontario (waving north!), but it's always great to find another Diana Gabaldon fan. I have all of the Outlander novels in hardcover, and have read all several times. The unabridged audio versions are amazing, too, so I can stitch and get a Jamie/Claire fix at the same time! I picked up the latest Lord John last week, and am reading it now.
I'm glad to find your blog. Thanks for commenting on mine!
Wow!! Congratulations on finishing Crystal Tree, which looks absolutely amazing!! There is so much to look at there. The charms, the snowflakes, the different stitches decorating the packages under the tree, the beads and crystals....as I said...Wow!!
You wouldn't just have this out on display at Christmas, would you?? It's too lovely to pack away at the end of the season. I'd keep it out all year.
Congratulations - it's gorgeous!
