Those of you who follow my blog will remember that I mailed a Mirabilia RR to Marjean on October 27th of last year.I had offered to do a block for her as some people had backed out.
Well, Marjean never received it. I was heartsick. All that work and it was gone.
Well, yesterday the mailman came to my door with two packages. One of them was Marjean's RR. It had gone to her and said it was undeliverable even though I have since verified the address, back to Canada and back to me in Arizona. I was stunned!!!
Needless to say, it is going out to her again with insurance, delivery confirmation and everything else I can think of to ensure that it gets into her hands safely.
Miracles do happen!!!!!!!!!!!
I will post my updates in a day or so. Trying to meet a deadline at the moment.
How super and what a miracle that the RR showed back at your house!!! I am glad that it resurfaced and is safe.

on your blog I was sick myself
when you said that it was lost
in the mail. What a great relief
that it's safe and sound after
all.
I use to belong to book of the
month club and had a great deal
of trouble with book orders
being returned to the club as
"refused" by recipient. I talked
to our post office and to the
club in the States and never
did find out where the trouble
was for sure but it appeared
that the packages were being
turned back at the border.
It's very annoying though.
So how are things down in
Arizona??? Miss the snow and
the cold temps yet??
The furnace guy has been and
gone. The furnace is still
not working. Waiting for a
part to repair the thing.
He left me two heaters to add
to the fireplace and our own
heater in the bathroom. I've
put his heaters in the kitchen
and in the library in the
basement. We're feeling
pretty comfortable right now
and I'm back in the computer
room, well obviously. Lol!

ReplyDeleteThis rarely ever happens so you can definitely take it as a miracle. The same happened to me once when I sent a finished (!) RR to its owner, but there was no miracle. It never arrived - but one year later the envelope I sent it in was found in a post employee's apartment, unfortunately without the contents. That was my last ever RR I joined.
