Seriously folks, I got nothing. No stitching, not a single stitch. My arm is really giving me HE double hockey sticks and so I haven't stitched a thing.
I even looked through my earlier photos looking for a photo to post. That just made me cranky too. I don't want to look at photos of stitching I can't do.
Have you ever seen a cranky stitcher who cannot stitch! Not a pretty picture. She looks something like the redhead who writes this blog.
So what do I do instead. Pack, yep you heard me - Pack. We are heading to Arizona on Saturday for the next six months.
And my stitching - well, I packed enough to do for the next 10 years. You never know what a girl might want to stitch LOL.
Hopefully, next time I write I will have something to show and I will be in a better mood.
Happy stitching, y'all.
Sorry that your arm isn't feeling well...but you've got it backwards, it should be feeling too bad for packing, lol!!!
ReplyDeleteSafe travels (again!)
Ouch for your arm. I hope it is feeling better soon. I know what you mean about not being able to stitch. At least with my aches from my spill I can still stitch.
ReplyDeleteAs for packing enough stitching........ Well I am sure you will remember something you forgot and need to go shopping. :) Always a good excuse.
It must be so frustrating Kathy, I feel your pain. I hope you have a wonderful six months in Arizona and get some stitching done. xx
ReplyDeleteI hope that once you hit Arizona's warmth your arm will heal more quickly. My last case of tennis elbow started as a result of my return to stitching. Repetitive movement. I didn't think something that simple could cause so much pain. Thank God for Aleve!
ReplyDeleteHave a safe trip. I'm sure you'll feel much better once you're there.
I am sorry to hear your arm is so painful. I hope it feels better soon. Have a safe trip and I'll "see" you in the states! :o)
ReplyDeleteBummer! Any chance of seeing a physical therapist before you leave? Hope the sunshine will help it heal! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI hear you, Kathy. I get cranky when I can't stitch, too. Hope you're on the mend soon. Wishing you a safe journey as well.
ReplyDeleteGive that arm a well deserved break and it'll heal in no time. Sending you happy thoughts and hugs and hope you have a wonderful time in Arizona. x
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that your arm is hurting so much. I hope you feel better soon and are able to get some stitching time in. Have a safe trip!
ReplyDeletePoor Kathy. I hope your arm heals before you end up cracking! Stitching is such a great stress reliever for me, I couldn't imagine not being able to. *hugs*
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth I'd be pretty
darn cranky too if I couldn't
stitch whenever I wanted to.
Hope the break from stitching
will give your arm a chance to
heal. Just be careful with
your packing so that you don't
make things worse by lifting
heavy boxes (full of stitching
supplies).
Have a safe trip down to
the land of perpetual summer.
Cheers!
hope that elbow heals soon! Have a good trip south!
ReplyDeleteRest, rest, rest, and you will be back to stitching in NO time! Really. It may seem like eternity now, but if you don't rest, it'll get much worse!
ReplyDeleteHaving said that: I've sustained a knitting injury, whereby it is impossible for me to use my right index finger (at least for the important stuff like stitching and knitting) and I have moved on from crafting to drinking red wine. You should try it. It's very pleasant. Makes you less cranky.
Good luck with everything, dear lady, and have a safe journey!
My dear....I'm right there with you with the arm hurting and the pi$$y moods...LOL! Hugs and love from one witch to another! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I mean that in sincerely the most kindest, friendly way!
Travel safe and I hope you can resume stitching soon!!!!
ReplyDeleteTravel safe! Hope you get better soon!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better soon and can stitch. Good luck with your move - hope all goes smoothly!
ReplyDeletehappy halloween
ReplyDeletehave a good day

I hope your arm feels better soon! I totally understand the feeling of wanting to stitch so bad, but not being able to...I just went through that these past couple of weeks.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time in AZ! I hope you are able to get back to stitching soon :)
Sorry to hear that your arm isn't better. Hopefully the pain will vanish soon so that you'll be able to stitch again.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a safe trip down to Arizona.
