LIGHTHOUSE HAPPY DANCE!!!!!!

Here is my lighthouse Round Robin  finished, washed and ironed. Isn't it stunning. It was started June 14, 2007 and finished March 27, 2011.

A huge thank you to all my lighthouse keepers. There were many grumbles, complaints and even some cursing as each lighthouse was stitched. They are Stoney Creek designs and some lighthouses had over 50 colors and many, many color changes. It was indeed a labor of love. I will be taking it home to Canada to have it framed.

  6. Three cheers for you Kathy!

It looks fabulous. It seems like a long time ago that we laid out the fabric and played with the placing of all those lighthouses. What a great feeling for you to have it completed.
    Congratulations!!!

  9. It's wonderful, Kathy! How special this piece is. That sailboat border is just darling. I like Stoney Creek's designs but they are pretty fiddley, aren't they?

  23. Oh Wow, Kathy. It really did turn out beautifully! I can imagine all the grumbling. I always say I will never do a Stoney Creek anything and end up falling in love with a pattern and just have to do it up. So I do understand all the work that has gone into it. Everyone did a fabulous job. You will have to post again when you get it framed.
