It is WIPocalypse time again. I am happy to report that I have two new finishes to add to the list.
I am so excited that I am actually finishing things. What a great idea this WIPocalypse has been for me.

My first finish

Point Loma Lighthouse by Stitchworks - a gift from my BFF

and my second

Just Nan's Summer Stroll - I was gifted this chart many years ago and can finally mark it off my list.
It was such a pretty stitch even with the 112 Algerian eyelets.

Not WIP related but another completed stitch.
This is a joint stitch with some other members of my Thursday stitching group. It will be a surprise gift for a friend. We were each to add something that represented us. Mine is from LHN - The Nutcracker. Isn't just too cute.

And this amazing gift from a friend. Don't you just love it!!! Thanks Barb.

It now hangs off my Ott-lite where I can admire it always!

That's it for this post. Off to read what everyone else has been up too. Till next time

Stay frog free and stitch happy.

These are all very cute, I especially love "Summer Stroll" I stitched that one many years ago when I was still using aida.

Thank you so much for your support on the Mira board. Hugs.

112 Algerian eyelets? You are Iron Woman! It looks worth every single one, though. Gorgeous stitching on everything as usual. Love the ornament!

My oh my, you've been BUSY!! The Point Loma lighthouse is very nice, but I have to say that my favorite is the Cross Stitch Maniac piece. Cute! And very fitting, wouldn't you say? :-)

Hi Kathy,

Lovely finishes! And did I see a Dutch scene on that 'banner' as well? Beatrice or Adriana?

Have fun, happy stitching & hugs,
Carolien

Well done, Kathy, both are wonderful finishes. Hope your friends likes her gift. I think I also have to have the stitch maniac ornie, too! Which is the one drawback of the wipocalypse: I end up seeing too many more things I want to stitch ;-)

Wow! You've been very busy, Kathy! I assume you're back in Canada, now? Did you manage to stitch much in the car on the way home? Don't know how people do that--I can't seem to stitch in a moving vehicle!

Lovely work on all--really pretty lighthouse and the joint stitch project is adorable. Love your cute Nutcracker contribution :)

Yes, that WIPocalypse is a great thing. I also stitched more on one of my BAPs than I would have done without the WIPocalypse. Two great finishes, Kathy!

Your finishes are beautiful. One of these days I will try Algerian eyelets. They look fabulous on your piece. What a sweet piece you and your friends are doing for a friend. She will love it! And that pillow ornament is awesome. Love the variegated threads.

You sure have been busy Kathy - lovely stitching as always.

Love your new 'about me' picture.

Julie has seen the new Nutcracker HAED at SP. She wants me to get it but I have a strange feeling that 'Bygone Summer' will last me a lifetime. :)
