Finish #2 and Family Photos

Good morning everyone. It is -20C this morning and I'm wishing I were back in Arizona.
Leo and I are babysitting our two grandsons while Mom and Dad are basking in the sun in the Dominican.
And I learned something new - I am too old to raise small children. Jack and Hunter are 4 and 2 and we are exhausted at the end of the day. Thank goodness, Mom and Dad will be home Saturday.
I did manage a little bit of stitching these past few days. I decided to stick to something simple as it is put down at the drop of a hat, or the toss of a car, the toss of a ball, a swat at his brother, a demand for milk - make that chocolate milk, pudding, yogurt, banana, rye bread - and no, I don't want butter! Get the picture! Thank goodness for the "Transformers" movie and a 10 minute to bedtime timer. And mind you their ten minutes may not be the same as mine LOL.

Here is my finish - a Kiwi bookmark that Rowyn sent me. I will finish finish it when I get back to Arizona.

Here are some family photos taken at Christmas.

Lovely photos! I agree, my Mom always tells me that the good lord gives us our children while we are young for a reason :-)
Safe travels back to the warmth...

Sounds like you are having a busy time. lol Sorry I didn't get to see you while you were in the big white North, but spring can't be too far away. Can it.

You are too funny. I wouldn't know what I did or how to fix the blue underlined wording either, lol.
Good looking family

It must be a very busy time for you with your grandchildren! I have 2 kids of 5 and 8 years old and it's also always, I want to drink, I'm hungry, I want this and that.
Nice pictures of your family!

They're so tiring but good fun too aren't they. I am shattered by the time Riley goes to bed (which is why I hardly get to stitch) but I wouldn't be without him and the fun he brings us.

Great photos of the family Kathy and congrats to Nicole!

Hello Kathy!

I can imagine you being exhausted after a full days with the boys! I can be worn out too sometimes after nannying 'my two'. It's fun, but tiring ...
Lovely pictures and have a nice rest this weekend!

Hugs, Carolien

HA!! I've been having the same blasted problem with blogger...turning my letters blue and underlining them! Whew! I thought it was me!...lol...

Great bookmark!! And wonderful family photos.

To get rid of the blue underlining, you need to go into the HTML and move the text out of the tags <>. It's a PITA and for some reason it happens a lot when there are multiple pictures in a post.

Gotta tell you, I wish I was in Arizona right now too! I just can't seem to warm up today.
Love the pics of your family. My granddaughters wore me out as well and I didn't have them for as long a time as you've had. Don't you just love them though!

What a beautiful family you have - somedays I think I'm too old to keep up with my own kids!
