Yesterday, I slipped and fell -------

Last week, I packed and packed and packed. And then, I wondered - how did I accumulate all this stuff and how is it going to fit into the van. Well, it all fit but we are loaded almost to the roof. And isn't DH happy about that! NOT!
In the little amount of time I found, I worked on and finished Andie's Mirabilia RR. I chose Winter Queen. I think she fits the theme well.

Here is her RR to date.

I finally managed to make a little progress on Snowflake Serenade. Here it is after working on it today in the car.

Yesterday, I slipped and fell into a new start. I really tried hard to resist this one but ------ I was not too successful. Just what I need -  another new start. But then, I realized I finished Royal Holiday, my Santa Stocking and my Lighthouse RR so far this year. And I have that lovely new project bag that Annette gave me.

And so here is my meager progress on this one.

I really enjoyed it but have a small snag. I don't have any 931 and both Michaels and Joann's didn't have any either. I will have to wait till I get to Canada to see if it is in those threads. If not the call will go out to my local stitchers looking for that color.

I'm off to check some emails and curl up on the bed in front of the TV in Effingham, Illinois. Tomorrow - Toledo, Ohio and then home on Wednesday.

Then to find a place to put all the things that are in those boxes.

Until next time, keep on stitching.

I'm glad you didn't really slip and fall, Kathy! Your post title had me a bit worried!!

I love your latest "slip" and it is one that I have been considering, too. The colors are so lovely.

I hope the rest of your journey home is safe--take care...

I am so glad you are not hurt, Kathy!! I was worried when I saw your title! Love the new start :) I can't believe you can stitch in the car...I have tried, but I get sick (but then again, I am usually the one driving everywhere, so it would be pretty hard to stitch even if I didn't get car sick!)

Your latest slip is one that I have all kitted up and ready to go.
I love it but have too many other things on the go at the moment so it will have to wait.
Your Mirabilia turned out beautifully. It's going to be a wonderful RR.
Are you scraping pavement in that loaded van? Hope you continue safely on your journey.
Have fun unpacking!

Oh my goodness - THANK YOU!! Email sent last night so you will find it when you get home.

I'll check and see if either the local Michaels or SP has 931. Will let you know tomorrow.

Wonderful SAL finish and love your new start.

Enjoy the rest of your trip home. Keep safe.

Hi Kathy,

I couldn't resist buying that
wonderful design (designs??)
from the Jardin Prive site too.
It's so beautiful. It's so
colorful. It's so sweet. It's
so HUGE!! Ack!! Do you plan
to stitch the whole thing on one
piece of fabric or divided into
three??

More progress on Snowflake eh?
It looks great and those little
white birds are so cute and I
love those little musical notes
scattered around the branches.

Your Winter Queen looks quite
regal and proud in her place
on Andie's RR. A wonderful
addition, beautifully stitched
and beaded.

Sounds like you'll get home
just in time for the deluge
of wet weather that is forecast
for the holiday weekend. I'm
afraid it's hibernation and
stitching time again. So sad!

Welcome home!!

Cheers!
