TUSAL and frogs, fish, flowers and fairies.

Hi everyone.

Thanks so much for your wonderful comments on my last blog post. I am still on vacation and therefore my posts are infrequent. I have not checked my google reader at all and I am sure I will have lots of reading and commenting to do when I return home next week.

FROGS and TUSAL
My TUSAL post is late but I only have internet when I come into town. Here is my frog this month. He is full of threads from my Band Sampler RR, my Fair and Square exchange, my latest Mirabilia addition etc. He is looking forward to a fresh start as am I.

FISH
Isn't that what you do at a cottage?
Jack with his first fish

Hunter with his first fish

Gramma, Papa and Daddy with our afternoon's catch of small mouth bass. Bet you didn't know I was a closet fisherperson. I love fishing.

FLOWERS
My partner has notified me that she has received her Fair and Square exchange. I stitched Chatelaine's "Kathy's Violets" for her. She assures me that she likes them. I enjoyed this design so much I will have to stitch it again for myself.

 FAIRIES
I am working on Fairies in the Garden again. I spent this past week stitching green leaves and fairy wings. I am now working on a fairy. Boy, I wish I saw the end of this piece. I hope soon.

Look -  lily pads and not a single frog in sight!!!!!

Till next time.

Looks like the boys are enjoying their fishing. I used to fish when my boys were young. Who gets to clean all that catch?

I love your exchange piece Kathy. It's so pretty! I agree, you must do one for yourself too.

May your lilypads be frogless throughout your holidays!

WOw that's a lot of fish! I'm wondering the same thing as Lynn... who gets to clean them all? lol Glad you're enjoying your vacation. I can't believe how much you've accomplished on the Fairies. You're amost 3/4 done! Your square is really pretty too.

What a lovely post, Kathy. It was a bit like going on a holiday reading about your stay in the country :o)

How do you manage to get so much stitching done? Your frog is overflowing! Enjoy the rest of your stay. I'm sure you will, with all those handsome men at your side!

What a wonderful vacation - so relaxing.
Your fair square is very pretty and the fairies are so sweet. I have this pattern too but must finish a few other things before I start it.
Enjoy more vacation time.

Glad the frogs are on vacation too!

Your fairy garden is coming on well - I feel your pain re plugging away at a project but I'm sure the finish will make all the effort worth it.

A great exchnage piece and I can easily see why you want to stitch it for yourself as well. And Fairies is getting nearer and nearer to the end. I love this piece, it's so vibrant with its colours and motives.
Enjoy your vacation!!!

Your exchange piece is gorgeous-love those colors!!
